Ashley Walden Davis

Ashley Walden Davis is the Catalyzing Capital, Program Officer for the Center for Cultural Innovation’s funding initiative, AmbitioUS. Ashley’s focus is the implementation of AmbitioUS, a time-limited national program, that launched in 2019 to support the development of alternative economic projects and paradigms that work for and are rooted in culturally connected communities. 

Ashley comes to CCI from Alternate ROOTS, a 44 year old Southern based regional arts service organization for artists, cultural bearers, and organizers. She held several roles including Director of Strategic Partnerships and Managing Director where she championed social and economic justice through grantmaking and community partnership initiatives. 

Ashley is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of C4 Atlanta, a local non-profit that supports the professional development of artists entrepreneurs. Ashley is based out of Georgia and enjoys life with her husband and son. 

She holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Producing from the California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies from Old Dominion University. Selected honors include Association of Performing Arts Presenters (APAP) Leadership Fellowship and the Theater Communications Group (TCG) New Generations: Future Leaders Grant.
