Part Two: Discover How the Center for Cultural Innovation Can Support Your Art, 4:30pm-5:30pm

Join Jayna Swartzman-Brosky, Bay Area Program Director for the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI)to learn about grants, business training, and resources made available for individual artists and arts nonprofit organizations.

About CCI: The Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) was launched in 2001 to promote knowledge sharing, networking and financial independence for individual artists and creative entrepreneurs by providing business training, grants and incubating innovative projects that create new program knowledge, tools and practices for artists in the field. CCI's headquarters office is in Los Angeles, with a second office in San Francisco serving Northern California.

A major area of focus for CCI is creating access to new sources of artist financing. To help address that need, the Investing in Artists grants program was established by the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) in 2007 to enhance the working lives and strengthen the creative support system for California artists working in all disciplines.

Other grant programs to be discussed include:

  • Creative Capacity Fund (CCF)
  • Quick Grant Program
  • NextGen Arts Grants
