with CDC Small Business Finance

Artists and creative entrepreneurs often struggle to obtain traditional business loans due to high debt, low profit margins, and other factors common to creative lives. But there are options out there that may be right for you! In this workshop, representatives of CDC Small Business Finance will give you the lay of the land and help you understand best practices and what to look for when it comes to small business loan options for new and non-traditional businesses. You will also learn about crowdfunding for a loan through microlending platforms like Kiva, and how that differs from other crowdfunding strategies (Kickstarter, Indiegogo, etc.).
