Business of Art 101 at the Studio Door

Designed as a next step for career artists. Each mentored session starts with a business and marketing lecture followed by lab time to focus on personal goals with professional guidance. Artists start by setting short-term and long-term goals for achieving success as a professional artist.

Artists are asked to make a commitment towards weekly sessions for one month at a time. Rolling entry: artists may join the workshop the first week of the month. Workshops are ongoing and shaped to the needs and goals of participating artists.

Current students working on personal websites, creating on-line sales opportunities, submitting to artist calls, creating business management system, preparing images for exhibition calls.
