It's Just Capitalism - Applying for Grants and Maintaining Sanity

In this two-session workshop we will cover an introduction to grant-writing and fundraising for individual artists including dispelling myths, money fears, and belief systems that prevent artists from seeking support. Next, we will learn about the basic components of standard proposals for individual artists. We will refine the project you want to get funded including writing a mission/artist statement; narrative; budget; support materials; and identifying 3-5 opportunities for support. Lastly, everybody will submit a request for professional development support to Center for Cultural Innovation’s Quick Grant program.
