Many organizations of all types—for-profits, nonprofits, and social sector organizations—struggle to keep their employees engaged and motivated. Gallup’s 2013 survey of workplace engagement found that only 29% of employees reported being engaged (committed and likely making positive contributions). 54% are disengaged (not motivated, no discretionary effort). 18% are actively disengaged (unhappy and likely spreading negativity). A disengaged workforce can make it difficult for an organization to achieve its goals and can lead to unwanted turnover that can be a significant drain on its time and resources. In this session, we will explore what nonprofits can do to motivate their employees, inspire them to do their best, and attract new high quality talent by being a great place to work.

Registration costs $40 to $60. This workshop runs April 16, 2015 in San Rafael, CA.
