Becoming Independent

with Corrina Peipon

This workshop is about building a sustainable practice as an independent artist. It takes a lot of perseverance and hard work to make art, so building a sustainable practice--a practice that you can sustain and that also sustains you--is critical to finding fulfillment for the long term. We will discuss myths about gallery representation, the concept of becoming independent, and sustainable frameworks for working as an independent artist.
