Unfettering Artists' Productivity and Impact

Michal Rosenn

Michal Rosenn is General Counsel of Expa, a global community of entrepreneurs and creators helping each other build companies. She was previously General Counsel of Kickstarter, the leading funding platform for creative projects.

In both roles, Michal has complemented her legal duties with a focus on public policy, a creative and inclusive approach to advocacy, and a commitment to social justice. While at Kickstarter, she helped lead Kickstarter's conversion to Public Benefit Corporation status and made the company a leading voice for public policy in the technology community. Michal led Kickstarter's efforts on a range of public policy initiatives, including fighting to preserve net neutrality, advocating for federal funding of the arts, and championing the rights of immigrants and the transgender community. She's continued this work at Expa, building upon the company's existing advocacy for immigrant rights and expanding its advocacy on behalf of entrepreneurs and creators.

Michal is a graduate of New York University and Harvard Law School, and previously worked as a litigator at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
