Every year, we bring together 350+ arts leaders from around the country for a creative exchange of ideas and experiences centered on advancing racial and cultural justice through the arts. This year is particularly exciting for us – our national office has been located in New Orleans for nearly two decades, and we’re thrilled to showcase our home community through plenaries, workshops, performances, tours and special events. NPN is a national arts service organization that believes artists and arts organizations are essential for creating a just and sustainable world. Our programs are built upon the belief that communities deserve broad access to art and culture that reflects their own experiences and informs about the experiences of others. NPN serves as fiscal agent to a number of New Orleans-based artist projects and individual artists. We invest in artists and their careers, collaborate and foster engagement among our 100+ organizations, offer leadership development and capacity building and work toward more equitable cultural policies and practices across the arts sector.
