The Logistics of Setting up an AP Studio Art Program

This session will cover the actions you will need to take to structure an AP Studio Art program in your classroom. This session is for new to AP teachers. The following topics will be addressed: AP teacher training, AP course approval, structuring the year for the 3 portfolios: breadth/concentration/quality, material and equipment needs, documentation of artwork, supplemental art programs, student support and studio time, submitting the portfolio online, and costs. I will also discuss ways you can start to build a program now to enroll students in Fall 2018.
