Learn to craft a compelling grant proposal for your next creative project. In this workshop, based on Gigi Rosenberg’s book, The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing, Gigi demonstrates how to research funding, decode application questions, and let the grant writing process propel your career forward.

You will learn:

  • Where grants come from and how to research them
  • How writing a grant benefits your career
  • How to enlist a team to help write your application
  • How crowdfunding can give you a competitive edge
  • What criteria to use for choosing a strong work sample

About the presenter:

Gigi Rosenberg won her first unofficial grant as a 14-year old when she convinced her parents to fork over the cash to buy 5 rolls of Super 8 Kodachrome film to shoot her first film. Today, she’s an author and coach to visual, literary, and performing artists, and entrepreneurs. Her book, The Artist’s Guide to Grant Writing (Watson-Guptill, 2010) is now in its second printing. For the latest, visit gigirosenberg.com
