Kathy Sirico is the Communications and Administrative Assistant at the Center for Cultural Innovation. Kathy is a Bay Area visual artist who works at the intersection of painting, sculpture, installation and textiles to examine narratives around climate change. She was a 2016 Artist-In-Residence at Recology and a 2017 Artist-In-Residence at the Lucid Art Foundation. Her work has been exhibited throughout California, New York, and Chicago. Kathy is passionate about arts education, interdisciplinary thinking, ecological stewardship, and the Bay area arts community.Originally from Philadelphia, Kathy worked in the interior design world as a design and marketing assistant before moving to San Francisco. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Science in studio art and art history from Skidmore College and a Masters of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute.
