This Fall, Americans for the Arts will head to Memphis to explore this cultural hotspot and its rich history, and discuss how our marketing strategies, tools and decisions of today will play a pivotal role in reaching the future that we desire for our careers, our organizations, and our communities. The 2017 NAMP Conference will explore the role of arts marketing and audience engagement in creating a future that is promising, creative, and profitable.

As arts marketers, we work to create a future that reflects both our own vision and our organizational visions to better serve our audiences and communities. And while we need to make marketing decisions based on data, analytics, and lessons learned, we also need to do the hard work of taking a true inventory of the resources and strengths we have to bear. We must be prepared to confront head-on the challenges that are sure to come our way and have answers for the hard questions we know we are going to get.
